He was born in Chania in 1964. He graduated from the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1987 and did postgraduate studies on economic analysis in LES (1987-1989).
In 1992 he acquired a trade license of an accountant- tax consultant of A class. For over two decades he has been collaborating with numerous companies in Thessaloniki, either as an accountant or as a supervising tax consultant, with great experience in all fields of tax and business interests of limited companies.
